Nurture a Spirit of Gratitude with Our Interactive "Summer of Praise" Gratitude Journals

The Summer of Praise is simple. It is an homage to the goodness of the Lord. It is a deliberate dedication to rejoicing in Him!

There’s nothing more fulfilling than redirecting one’s attention from self to HIM. I have found when I am consumed by what I want, don’t have, need, should have, feel, etc., I am as the Apostle Peter, who after a brief bout walking on water, became distracted by the winds and waves and began to drown. Self-centeredness is a distraction that leads to a drowning effect, writhing in the sea of sadness, depression, anxiety, entitlement, offense, etc. Peter cried out to Jesus for help who aptly pulled him to safety. The Summer of Praise is an invitation to intentionally look to Jesus and an exercise in delighting in His presence and embracing His helping hand.

The Summer of Praise is also an opportunity to bond as a family and engage your teen and pre teen.

As a result, I curated a Summer of Praise Activities List for the family to do together and a Summer of Praise Journal for the pre/teens in your life.

I have a teen and a pre-teen. (Thank you for your prayers. Lol.) They are growing more and more independent. Busy with video games, volunteering and summer jobs, it’s harder to connect with God as a family. I created the Summer of Praise digital devotional with the independent tech-conscious kid in mind. They have the opportunity to draw strength from the well of God’s Word through an interactive journal experience of their own (using their phones or tablets). You get to do the same and the power of connecting through a shared, although separate, experience begins.
