About Altesa

I’m Altesa Baker - educator, curriculum developer, and trained actor with over 20 years of experience creating learning experiences that go beyond worksheets and lectures.

My work blends theater principles, writing instruction, reading, and life skills to help individuals think critically, communicate clearly, and take ownership of their choices, onstage, in the classroom, and in real life.

My MFA in Acting and BA in Social Work helped to shape my philosophy around creating space for purposeful engagement.

I believe learning sticks when people experience it, reflect on it, and connect it to real life. That belief shapes everything I create… from courses and workbooks to workshops and consulting.

My work has been used in:

• Homeschool communities

• Professional development and enrichment settings
